Generative IP: Turning Cultural Relevance into Long-Term Brand Growth
The ideas that endure are designed to grow beyond a campaign.
That requires brands to build differently.
At STAN, we call this approach Generative IP: proprietary intellectual property designed to shape culture, influence behaviour at scale and generate long-term commercial value.
Instead of creating another moment for people to watch, Generative IP creates a system they can participate in.

From attention to participation - built to travel
Generative IP starts with a gap in behaviour, access or meaning.
At STAN, that means identifying the cultural tension first, then designing the participation system around it - equipping audiences with tools and knowledge that they can actively carry forward in their own networks.
With this approach we create enduring value that can be localised across markets, extended through partners and licensed over time.
Its value is no longer tied to how long a campaign remains live - It compounds through use and allows brands to generate both societal impact and measurable business growth.

New First Aid - Generative IP in Action
Created by STAN in partnership with BARMER and BBDO, New First Aid responds to a gap in mental health care:
While people are taught how to react to physical emergencies, far fewer know how to respond when someone around them experiences a mental health crisis.
Instead of communicating around that problem, New First Aid acts as a platform to participate in, to teach young people how to support one another through moments of crisis.
The impact went beyond reach. With New First Aid, BARMER´s relevance rose from 42% to 85%, with youth policy sign-ups increasing by 11.5%.
Rather than simply consuming a health message, young people became active participants.
